Today was an amazing, fun and jam-packed day. We had Bennett's birthday party this morning and then a shower for my dear friend Hayley at my house later in the afternoon. Such a fun day celebrating some of my favorite people.
The party for Bennett was precious. It was a Curious George theme, and the whole way over to Bennett's house The Mayor sang "Happy Birthday to Bennett". The weather was beautiful so the kids were able to play outside during the party. The party was only scheduled for an hour and a half and it flew by! The kids had so much fun celebrating Bennett. Happy Birthday to our favorite little 2 year old cousin.
The afternoon was spent celebrating Hayley and her baby. We do not know the gender of the baby (so annoying :) ) so the theme was winter wonderland. It matched the invitation and more importantly, was right up Hayley's alley. She was surrounded by family and friends and she and the baby racked up on some seriously awesome baby gear! It was a beautiful day celebrating a beautiful pregnant friend.
I am wiped out. But I honestly wouldn't have it any other way. It really doesn't get any better than spending a day celebrating the people you love.
