We enjoyed our last boring weekend of the summer before life changes a bit in the Shirley household. We have plans for each remaining weekend of the month and The Mayor starts school a week from Thursday. So we decided to just enjoy the beautiful sunny weather this weekend by going for walks and playing outside at some local playgrounds.

The Mayor had the best time at the playground. D and I took turns holding Love Bug while the other chased The Mayor up the playground and raced him down the slides. He thought it was the best though when we decided to let Love Bug in on the action and she rode down the slides on our laps. The Mayor just loved the fact that his sister was able to play with him, and she got such a kick out of being outside and watching her brother run around.

The little things...life is so good.
